Megarave. 31/8/07

Woooo ! Another big party from my dream list of playing at has come true. The mighty Megarave ! I used to hear about these party's in the early 1990's and never even imagined I would go to a Megarave party never mind play at one, so this was a great honour.

It was a 2 hour drive from Schiphol to the party in the Nina-mobile arriving about 23:30. We had to park in a street a far from the venue as there were 100's of cars everywhere. We got out the car and could hear Rotterdam Terror Corps playing live in the outdoor area. A few old people from the surrounding houses had come and and were looking shocked at the big bass and MC Raw's voice, ha ha, old farts.

The Pepermill looks small from outside but inside there is 1 big area with a pool, a long side area which was oldksool this time and some othere area's that I've never found when I've been there before. The terror area was in its usual location upstairs in the long loft which nice sound and monitors as usual. Unfortunately it got shut down at 4:30 so I only played for 30 mins, grrr. So I went downstairs and played Exposure King at the end of Partyraisers set before Mr Rige, Distortion played the lat hour until 06:00.

Superb party, very hot & busy !
