Wow ! Once again Fantazia prove that hardcore will NEVER die with another 8,000 sell out show !
Nice varied music style in the main arena and happy hardcore in the outside tent, until I played a gabber set for the last hour.
Highlights of the night for me had to be Frankie Bones & Lenny Dee's hard techno set in the main arena. I was surprised that the mostly young crowd who are usually into there big tunes really got into this. The arena was packed, even the sides with the seats were rammed. Respect for the open mindness of the future in our scene.
We just arrived as Bizarre Inc were playing so didn't get to see much of them due to saying hello's and dropping records off backstage. Next up was Altern 8 who played an excellent set of classics including Charly, Outlander - Vamp, Beltram - My Sound & many others.
N-Joi were also fantastic. This was the first time I'd saw them for about 14 years and didn't disappoint at all. Adrenalin still excites the hairs on the back of me kneck.
Bass Generator had the arena completely rocking with a nice mix of classics & hardstyle.
Amazing night, good laugh, good music and I didn't see any trouble.
1 question ? Why do happyhardcore DJ's play gabber at the end of there sets ? And usually really bad gabber ? Please, leave the danger to us !
