CSR Birthday in Terrorland. 13/1/2007

This was a very long day ! We arrived at the venue around 18:30 and helped set everything up. My small blue muscle's couldn't cope with all the heavy lifting of tables and staple guns. To make it worse, I had to sit for 3 hours staring at a bar full of booze without being able to drink any until opening time at 22:00. It was like hiding inside Kylie Minogue's toilet for a week waiting too see her have a shit, only to discover she was constipated. Torture !
When the doors open, the venue filled up quickly and the CSR Terror shop was sold out of most of the merchandise in a few hours. Ker-ching ! Drinks on The Plague !
The first 3 hours was drum & bass and oldskool which didn't go down to well with the terror heads ! This was all part of the sneaky Plague's plan, so when he started the CSR live show at 01:00, everyone would be well up for it and release there tension. He was right ! Nice visuals to accompany tasty Canadian Standard Speedcore.
THe 2nd room got closed down early, which was a shame, as a lot of people were excited about the Dutch debut of DJ IMITATION BEARD.
During my set the sound went off for about 7 minutes. The sound guy had accidentally turned off downstairs when he shut down upstairs, bahh. I had to entertain the crowd of 600 people by singing and dancing. Towards the end of my set i played 'We Killed Jah' by Moshpit. A mad moshpit/pogo started with 7ft skinheads shoving each other about. Its not a pretty sight so I changed the track as quick as possible as a lot of people were getting there drinks spilled. Tut tut.
Highlight of the night was a surprise DJ set from Nevermind from the USA. Nice to see you again big fella !
