Great night, 2000 people all going for it  ! !

The Judgement Day room wasn't very busy, as expected.

The good people of the north east have been brainwashed with makina music for the past 5 or so years, so getting them to hear something new is going to be a long hard task made even harder by the fact that the people wont listen or dance to music without an MC !!

These kids are the future of our scene and are important to the future of Judgment Day when it is officially re-launched later this year.

We shall not give up on our task !!

Problems with needles meant that the Judgement Day room didn't open till 19:00. By this time there were already 1,500 people in the main room and still a huge cue outside.

It was a very heart warming site to see the Judgment Day ghost once again at a party !

Once everything was up & running, Unit 13 kicked us off playing a nice set of hardhouse & hardstyle, full of stompy beats & hoovers, very nice. With MC Masterhyme accompanying them, a crowd of people came up from downstairs to see what was going on. Mostly sitting down and listening to stuff they maybe have never heard before, a few got up for a wiggle when Masterhyme was MC'ing but they seemed more interested in what the MC was saying !

Old Judgement Day favourite MC Techno T made a special guest appearance and done a bit MC'ing for Ty Flipside, who played a set of UK hardcore some happy hardcore classics and some excellent scratching got the room bouncing, which was quite busy now.

A no-show from Bass Generator meant Ty played an hour and 30 minutes before Smurf took over to play a set of new style gabber party tunes. Respect to the kids who came and gave it a listen, especially to the fella with glowsticks around his ears who loved it !

I'm still bemused as to why most of the kids don't show any interest in the music and wont dance if there is no MC ! ! Well, we suppose its what there used to and fair play to them !!
