Left work feeling rough from the previous evenings Xmas Party.
Felt better with a pint of diesel (lager, cider & blackcurrant) in the airport and departed for Amsterdam.
Got picked up at the airport by Jasper Carrot and driven to Rotterdam to pick up Stinger, DJ Plague & Nina. Had a couple of beers, wash and headed to the first party, which was about a 1 hour drive.

Nice Venue. The main room where I was playing had a DJ Booth in the middle of the room, with the dancefloor in the front, a bar at the back and another at the side. Nice soundsystem too.
Upstairs was a smallish room with 1 bar. Both rooms were busy allnight.

Time for me to play 04:00 - 05:00 back to back with Vageman, 3 records each. Vageman started, around 200 BPM and we built it up from there. I don't really like to play back 2 back sets, especially with someone I didn't know to well, but it went down well and was lots of fun !!
After I'd played the last track, the lights came on and people started cleaning up. After about 3 minutes I put on Extreme Terror 3 and people came running from all directions and going crazy, banging on the big steel bins !! Excellent !!!

Nice sleep, and we all head up to Drachten now for the next party, Temple Of Terror, which was a 2 hour drive.

We arrived late at 22:00, just in time for Stinger to play his set.
I don't like all the rushing around. I prefer to get to party's early, get a feel for the venue and meet the party people !
Both rooms were on the same level, sperated by the entrance & toilets and a VIP room upstairs with a toilet, shower, beer & a fire extinguisher and an incredible drunken man.... more on that later.....
The hardcore room had a screen showing porn, nice !! And the Cerebal Destruction room was smallish with a bar at the back.

Everyone was up and awake around 3pm and I cooked, Stinger, Nina & Ian Plague an English breakfast, bacon, egg, sausage & beans, yum yum !!
We left for Haarlem around 6:30pm, about an hours drive.
I always enjoy playing here. Its a nice small bar, relaxed atmosphere and a very loud & clear sound system, oh, and I get free beer !

Playtime at 23:00. The monitors are usual loud & clear in the DJ booth, but this time the sound was muffled and the bass distorted, bahh, I was really pissed off !!!

MONDAY 20th
An early start for Me & Mr Plague as we had to get the train from Rotterdam to Amsterdam airport as THe Plague was spreading back to Toronto for Xmas and I was going to Edinburgh for GGM Diva Debz's birthday.
By to Ian and hello to Debz, heh
Arrived at The Sean's were Me & Debz made a mad cocktail of various drinks into a pan, scooping out the booze with a measuring drug, slowly getting blitzed allday waiting for others to arrive.
Sean got Debz a blow up husband doll, which we named Rubber Jonny and put to good use.

Present time ! Funsize Stef gives Smurf a talking Sponge Bob cookie jar, yay! and all hell breaks loose. All the animal ornaments in the flat go crazy for Bob and an orgy breaks out
Its too much for the GayAfricanMan so
he resorts to a yella fella and wearing a Partick Thistle hat.
Funsize & David leave, powernap, Louise arrives, and we go out disco dancing to a cheesy club on Edinburgh called Subway. The Sean arrives later on after first being home and confronting Rubber Jonny.
