Woosh !! What a party !!

Left Newcastle at 12:50 on a flight to Amsterdam. Local tribal/house DJ Scott Bradford was on the same flight, on his way to play 3 party's in Budapest. Nice to see local people doing well, whatever genre of music they play.

Nice pint & a Jack Daniels & coke in the aiport before getting on the bat. Canny sandwich & beer before arriving in Amsterdam around 15:15 Dutch time.

Headed of to collect ma bags & weapons and met the legend that is Hardcore Ray, ha ha.

Train into Amsterdam. Popped into Grasshoppers to meet some of Ray's mates fmo back home, but they were late and we had to be off to Rotterdam, so we popped into a shop to get some beers for the train. Ray knocked something of a shelf in the shop and I had a laughing fit and had to sit on the floor.

We finds the train to Rotterdam and sit down with a few beers and story's for the 45 minute or so journey.

Ray has his walkman with him with some Canadian Speedcore Project on so we sit with an earphone each bopping around on the chairs. A big long bloke gets on and stands in front of us who is the double of Matt Rage.

We arrive in Rotterdam, the home of hardcore, Ahhh, Never ever dreamt I would see Rotterdam when I played my first gabba record in a club in 1993 !!

We disembark the train and get a few photo's of us next to the Rotterdam Central Station sign, woo hoo !! I felt like a Christian going to Bethlehem !!

Outside the statoin we meet Sick Rob, Stinger & Nina who take us back to Robs place for a few beers while everyone gets ready for the journey to Belgium.

Me & Stinger are due at the party at 22:00 to play an oldksool set, so we try to leave earlt but a bottle of absinthe stops us.

Eventually we leave, just after stopping at a playground to get some photo's of Me & Stinger on a kiddies slidey.

Eventually on our way. I leve with Stinger & Nina, while Ray gets in the car with Rob & Angie.

After a much needed toilet stop, we arrive in Weelde, Belgium after about an hours drive, at 22:30, missing our odlskool set.

We dash in, get our beer tokens etc and go to room 2. A guy was on playing a set of Deathchant Records, and we would play out oldksool set at 23:00. Nice. Jack Daniels.

Had a walk around the venue. Inbetween Room 1 & 2 was a porn cinema. Crazy !! A row of chairs and sofa's in front of a wall which had hardocre porn films projected onto it, ha ha, Amazing !! Speedcore & porn, what a combination eh?

Had a look into Room 1, which holds abuot 700 - 800 people maybe. It was already quite busy with people going for the 220 BPM + hardcore, nice. Said hello's to Akira who was setting up his Amiga for his PA later on.

Head back into room 2 where we meet Albert The Whistler.

23:00 and its time to play. We play 2 records each, all ealry 90's European hardcore, Age Of Love, Energy Flash, Ramirez, lots of Music Man stuff etc. The set goes quite well depsite dropping the tempo from 200 BPM to 130 BPM!! Monitor was a bit distorted but we got thru it OK.

Drokz & The Vizitor arrive and have a little bop around to us.

Spent the rest of the night larking about, breakdancing, hurting me foot, watching porn and licking elbows, before I had to play my speedcore set in the main room at 1:30am

The OUtside Agency, Eye-D & DJ Hidden were teraring up the place so I had some act to follow!!

Off I go. MC Justice introduces me and I kick off with DJ Freaks 1000 BPM track on Crapshoot, hehe, take that. Place goes mental !! Excellent. Next I play my Fuck Me Geordie track from Strike 25 which I didnt realise was such a big track in Europe "I AM NOT MENTAL" at that point I got a roll of gaffer tape and stuck it aruond my head, with the ret of thr roll still attached and sticking out the side of my head.

I played a fast set of 250-340 BPM industrial speedcore and a lot of guitar tracks. Excellent to play what I love to a room full of 800 mentalists + Hardcore Ray. I could see his mad bald potato head bouncing up & down as he was going bezerk. At one point he got told to calm donw coz he was going too mental, ha ha !!

Finished my set at 2:45, sweating like a pig & exhausted.

Akira took over with his live PA which was total brutal speedcore !! nice one !!

Headed of into room 2 where Stinger & Sick Rob were playing another nasty sopeedcore set, haha, there's no escape! Speedcore/terror heaven !!

Got a few more Jack Daniels and watched some more porn. Unfortunatly , the projector didnt come out on these photo's..

I think I fell asleep on a sofa at one point. We all left, or tried to leave around 5am, ubt everytime we went to get Ray he would wander of oto another part of the dancefloor, hehe.

Got back to Robs house where I crashed out onthe floor cuddling a bottle of absinthe.
Ray arrive about 3 hours later after getting lost in Stingers car, ha ha!!

Wakes up about 10:30 and the first thing I see is Rays big smiley face. He had fell asleep listening to speedcore on his walkman. we sit round listening to lots of mad stories from the night before Me & Ray leave for Amsterdam.

Said our toodle pips to Rob & Angie and and go round tro Stingers place to try & wake him up. No joy. So we get a tram to Rotterdam Centraal, get some beers for breakfast, and get the train to Amsterdam.

Hmm. Can humans shit in the street?? Maybe I will try next time

At this point we have a look at the photo's from the night, but, I had my digital camera in my pocket with a bottle of orange, which had leeked onto it and forked the camera, Shit !! Got some good photo's aswell.

Never mind eh. Too tired & drunk to care.

Quick shower & shave in Amsterdam then off to pub to meet Kit Williams.

Spent the rest of the day getting drunk in various pubs.
