A MAD WEEK IN SCOTLAND
Friday 22nd August - Friday 29th August
My oh my. Well, what was originally going to be a 3 day visit to Edinburgh, actually turned into a week of cross dressing, nail varnish, double kidnapping, missing leg warmer madness ......
The plan was to go up to Edinburgh to a techno party called Dogma in Calton Studio's and ocme back to Newcastle on Sunday coz I was playing at a party called Detox.
Ive DJ'd and done the GGM PA in the Calton Studio's a few times at The Core & Judgment Day so I was looking forward to going back just to party and see how it had changed.
Left The Toon at around 5pm, arriving in Edinburgh 1t 6:30 and was met at the station by Chris 'Fukt-Nut' of Diverse Frequencies and Dirty Danni, whose flat I would be staying at till Sunday.
Quite a pleasent day and we headed to the shop to get booze & supplies.
Arrived at the flat and we proceeded to get drunk.

We left the club at 5am when it ended and I can remember being outside and I sat on a motorbike. Didnt know it was one of the bouncers and this big bald maniac came over and pushed me off it which gave me such a nasty cut on my arm.
A couple of us went to Gabe's flat, not far from Danni's and I left there to go and get some booze from Danni's flat but I somehow managed to fall asleep on the stairs.
Once everyone came bacj, they thought it would be a good idea for we to where Lawnmowers dress, put some make up on, nail varnish, high-heels and go to the shop at 8am, which I think may of disturbed some people! Im not really a drunken maniac you know. Its all an act !

Saturday was spent drinking more, watching TV and remebering the night before.
Sunday came and I had to leave to go play at Detox in Newcastle. I kidnapped Lawnmower and we got the train aroun 3pm getting back to Smurfland for 5pm.
Bit of a mad dash to sort me tunes out - I was playing a back 2 back with Yeti, playing oldksool and we headed for a quick drink at Ant & Dec's pub in Newcastle called The Lodge.
Munch in Subway and we go to The Quay Club for the party around 7pm.
Disco Dave Melt one of the romotors wanted me to dress up as Bat Smurf again and greet all the citizens as they came through the door.

I didn't stay long in the suit as there was no crime's to fight and I was feeling a bit rough - was sick 4 times. Yak !
"The Wire" played before us, sort of commercial trance and his "Wire" sample which filled the dancefloor and had everyone going nuts abd shouting "Wire, Wire", hehe, Class
It was now our turn. I was wanting to play quite hard-ish oldksool techno but feared we might kill people. Is artted of with 'Dukka' & 'Dippedy Day', 'Observing The Earth' & then Ramirez 'Orgasmico' and Yeti took over nad we played a mixture of oldskool techno, acid & anthems & piano tunes. I even sneaked in the Aphex Twin remix of 'We Have Arrived', heehee to which Anty Static (one of the other promotor's came up and said "you cant play this" to which I replied "I can and I am". Eee, naughty. Dancefloor stayed pretty full for our set which was canny.

Detox was a canny night. Wasnt to keen on al lthe trance & hard house type stuff played, but hey, lots of people enjoyed it! I was pretty quiet with feeling rough and all my mates wer drunken slobs, hehe. Armaged:DON saying loads of mad stuff and drinking and and slupring it back into his pint, Rob being a drunked manic and getting hoyed out, Paul CNE and his incredible drunken face, Mr Claypole keep trying to feel my small blue balls. MANIACS !!
We left around 1pm with Pete Wallis & Paul CNE and went for a pizza & some chilli-peppers. Nice.
Didnt wake up till 1pm on Monday and another mad dash to get ready as Lawnmower had to be back up the road for 5:30-ish to go to dancing class.
So, we gets in the Smurfmobile and gets to Edinburgh via a sight seeing tour of Lawnmower Land, Tranent and a drive round The People's Chair (Arthurs seat).
I was going to go home on Tueswday, but I got kidnapped this time.
Lazy day Tuesday trying to motivate people to do things! Went out for a drinks to the pub and had a fairly early night.
Wednesday I went round to the gigner knitting needle on steriods, Boony to fix his laptop. Ended up totally wrecking it and it now shuts itself down after 10 minutes or so, oops !
Wednesday night, Me & The Boon head into Edinburgh centre for some booze. Ended up on the wrong bus so took about an hour to get to Witherspoons. Whelk.
Few beers, pitcher of vodka, orange & aftershock. Hardcore Ray arrives around 11 and we head of to a club called Subway.
Canny laugh. Music was a bit pants. All R n B type stuff, Madonna etc.
Had a bit spin around on me kneck and picked up a nice bruise on me knee, nice.

Mother Boon came round on Thursday afternoon to make us burgers. Had a nice lazy day before heading up to Witherspoons to meet Flymower for a short drink.
Eventaully got home at 1pm on Friday and had to be at work at 7 for nightshift, bahh
