FUELLED BY HATE
Newcastle, England
Our Fuelled By Hate party on a boat in Newcastle was absouloutly awesome!!
I had never saw the boat before the party and we had a few hitches with the sound system on Saturday afternoon. The system we had hired had huge bass bins that wouldnt fit down the hatch of the small boat, so we had to get a smaller system, which was ready well before the kick off at 8pm.
The boat was moored in a marina in Newcastle called st Peters basin, which is in a very upmarket area of Newcastle, lots of posh flast & houses surrounded the area so we were a bit worried about complaints from residents about the noise, so we decided to put the main guests on earlier, incase we did have complaints and had to turn the sound down.
Coaches started leaving from the metting point at 7:45 taking people down to the marina, and everything went very well indeed.
Because of the fear of noise complaints, we had Spliffmonk (Hammer Damage) PA at 10 - complete mayhem from the bald cabbage patch kid.
A truly excellent PA with a lot of thought & effor gone into it. Respect Mike.
At 11, the main man, LA PESTE from Hangers Liquides records, France. This was the most amzing DJ set ANYONE has every heard, drum & bass, broken beats, silly housey tunes, all played with triple mad beats & industrial speedcore over the top.
The guy was amazing. Constalnyl playing with the mixer, bending the sounds, and nice quick touches with the faders. WOOSH. Completly amazing like !
Stef Dark Angel also did an excellent relentless PA and Gunter Saxenhammer destroyed everyones ears some more, not that anyone minded.
Stef Dark Angel, Beccy
& Sean (Total Output)

Only 3 people managed to fall in the water
(the boat didnt move).
I fell down the step ladders that wnet into the boat, right on my bum, and it
is stil sore.
Maximum respect to everyone who made the effort and made this one of the most memorable & unique party's of the year.........Max Death, Colenel Stench, Toe, Racheal & James? from Bristol (so many times I asked there names), Chip Shop Thugz from Liverpool, what happedn to that Trancekiller dude??, all the mad mob from Gaberdeen, Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow & Cheltnam that made the effort.
We shall definetly be having another party, featuring 2 more underground artists from France. I think its best if we keep getting lesser known international arttistes, because they fit the venue perfectly, rather than getting big name DJs in.
Next time the boat will be in a different place, therefore we will have later license.
